Monday

Today was a fun day in the Toddler classroom. Today we:
  • explored the water in the sensory table
  • read lots of books together
  • played with balls
  • created "dot-dot" artwork with the chubby paint markers
  • moved our bodies in the gym
  • and enjoyed singing and eating together.
Being a part of a group is so important to young toddlers' social-emotional development. We've observed noticeable development of the children's peer relationships within the class. We first saw the children quietly watching their peers, to saying their peers' names, to giving hugs and kisses, and even inviting others to join in their play. We're happy to see these connections growing after only two short weeks together.
