Friday

We kept busy today with a variety of experiences:
  • tossing and rolling beach balls
  • playing with ice
  • taking care of baby dolls
  • climbing, running, jumping
  • making marks on paper with crayons
  • tossing, dumping, counting, and filling buckets with pom-poms
  • playing peek-a-boo
After four full days in school, it's nice to hear new words and songs coming from the students.  These behaviors often tell us that the children are feeling comfortable and are more able to be the children you all see at home, at school.  We are all really looking forward to the next few weeks with everyone!

Parents, we would love if you all spent some time looking at the blog this weekend with the children.  Doing this will help keep the new classroom, the new teachers, and the new peers fresh in everyone's mind!  We have had a lot of success helping new children feel more comfortable in school when they have verbal and visual reminders of this new place.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!  See you all Monday...
