Today was Outer Space Day! In the morning we practiced using & moving stickers (a great fine motor skill). We also got messy while exploring ooblick (a mixture of cornstarch, water, and a little bit of liquid water color that creates an interesting solid-liquid texture). After snack and gym, we painted a moon and some stars together. Some students chose to paint with brushes, others preferred their fingers, and others enjoyed dumping the cup of paint and spreading it with their hands. These kids seem to really enjoy getting their hands messy! It was a great day!
